WCR tournament scheduled

The Henderson County Women’s Council of REALTORS Third Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9 at King’s Creek Golf Club located on Hwy. 274 in Kemp.

Registration starts at noon. The format will be a four-person scramble with tee-off set at 1 p.m.

The registration fee is $50 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf, cart and lots of fun.

An awards ceremony will follow the tournament with a $400 cash prize being given to the first place team, $200 and $100 to the second and third place teams. A fajita meal will be available for $8 after the tournament along with an “Arm and Leg Raffle.”

The two prior tournaments were not only successful, but also very entertaining with plenty of opportunity for networking. Since the deadline for registering is quickly approaching, anyone wanting to sponsor a hole, tee box or play in the tournament should contact Liz Swadley at 903-288-2740 or Audrey Hollar at 903-887-7899.
