Eustace beats Malakoff, 25-7, 25-22 and 25-14 in the opening round of this tournament.

Chelsea Truitt had 18 points and Kimberly Austin 17.

Cassie Freeman had 12 points and 12 kills.

Eustace survived a stiff challenge from Grand Saline to win that tournament in four games, 27-25, 26-24, 23-25 and 25-13.

Chelsea Truitt had 16 points and Cassie Freeman had 13, plus 20 kills.

Jenny McConathy and Cassie Freeman had 13 points apiece and Nicole McNeel had 11 assists.

Allison Cass had 10 points. Jenny McConathy had 12 kills.

Van Tournament:

Cassie Freeman was named to the All Tournament team and the Eustace volleyball team won consolation in the championship bracket of the Van Volleyball Tournament held Sunday.

Eustace splits two games with All Saints, 19-25 and 25-23.

Cassie Freeman had seven kills and scored seven points. Jessica McConathy scored nine points and Nicole McNeel had 8 assists as Eustace rallied from a first-game loss.

Eustace beats Edgemont, 25-14-25-15.

Kimberly Austin had 13 points, Chelsea Truitt 12 and Jessica McConathy 9 as Eustace won both games against Edgemont.

Cassie Freeman had nine kills and six digs in the victories.

Eustace beat Hawkins, 25-20, 25-14.

Cassie Freeman had five kills, 9 digs and13 points in the victories for Eustace. Kimberly Austin had 11 points and Jessica McConathy had 10.

Jenny McConathy had 6 points.

 Jessica McConathy had seven digs.

Eustace’s record is now 4-1



EQUIPMENT TO BE ISSUED FRIDAY:



The schedule has been set for Mabank Junior High football players to pick up their equipment Friday for the 2008

football season.

All prospective players should report to the field hours doors near the football stadium entrance.

Eighth graders will pick up their equipment from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Seventh graders will pick up their equipment from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m..
