Summer Sports Happenings

July 14 -18:

TVCC basketball camp

The second session of the Trinity Valley Basketball Camp will be is scheduled July 14-18 at Cardinal Gym on the campus of Trinity Valley Community College.

The camp will be from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. each day with emphasis being on individual player offensive development.

Each session will include competitions, contests and leagues with each camper receiving a camp t-shirt.

The camp will be open to girls and boys grades 2-12.

The costs of the camp will be $65 for each participant or $55 each if two or more family members attend.

The camp coaching staff will include TVCC women’s and men’s coaching staff members as well as TVCC players.

July 21-24

MHS football camp

Mabank High School will host its fourth annual football camp for boys in kindergarten through eighth grade Monday through Thursday, July 21-24.

Younger campers K-5th grade will practice from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. each day, while older campers will practice from 10:30 a.m. until noon each day.

Fee for the camp is $55 er camper, which includes a t-shirt for campers who register by Friday, July 11. The camp is open to all area athletes.
