BETTY CAROL IRVIN
Services for BETTY CAROL IRVIN, 61, of Kemp, were held Aug. 20 in the Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp with Rev. Kelly Betts officiating. Interment followed in the King Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp.
Mrs. Irvin was born Aug. 2, 1946 in Dallas to W.C. and Mamie (Henson) Tatom and passed away Aug. 17, 2007 in Dallas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a former City Secretary in Kemp. She was loved and had a loving family who will dearly miss her. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and Jeff Gordon, and was a wonderful wife, mother and nanny. Her mother, and brother, Dale Tatom, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Gay Irvin of Kemp; sons, Travis Irvin and his wife Melinda, Casey Irvin and his wife Shirley and Chauncey Irvin and his fiancé Melissa, all of Kemp; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Tyler, Landon, Madison, Bailey, Peyton, Ethyn, and Daltyn; her father, W.C. Tatom of Kemp; brother, Glen Tatom and his wife Diane of Combine; sister, Gayle Fain and her husband Bobby of Lubbock; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
