Two-Car Crash

Rescue workers remove J.E. Thomas of Mabank from his 1999 Cadillac Seville after a collision Tuesday afternoon on Hwy. 175 east of Mabank. Police said Thomas attempted to turn onto Hwy. 175 from Railroad Road and collided with Karen Ann Pond, who was eastbound in the inside lane in a 2007 Nissan SUV. Her SUV rolled four times, witnesses said, but Pond was not hurt.
