Now we’ve seen everything

GUN BARREL CITY - Early-morning motorists were startled out of their early-morning funks last Thursday while driving down Main Street (334).

A naked lady suddenly appeared before them, walking down the middle of the street — in the turn lane.

At 6:10 a.m.

Some witnesses say she was carrying a small dog in her hands.

Others didn’t notice a dog.

A milkman said he saw the woman and immediately called Gun Barrel City Police. “We see everything,” he said.

He immediately called police, but several startled motorist had already called.

Said one observer: “I wasn’t sure if I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.”

According to GBC Officer, Sgt. Wehland, Police said they have no plans to file public lewdness charges on the woman.

Instead, when police arrived they threw a coat over her to cover her up.

She was then taken by EMS to East Texas Medical Center Gun Barrel City for observation.

The woman was said to have been in her mid-40s.

One man said he first saw the woman coming off Welch Lane, walking with a pomeranian dog.

The naked woman then turned and headed east at 334 before her stroll was interrupted, according to police.
