The 5th Annual Summer Rod Run And Car Show

Seven Points VFD Car Show would like to thank these sponsors without them this event could not happen, every one needs to go by and say thanks.

The Model A Class 1st place went to Walter Hellebrand with a 30 Tudor & 2nd place to Harris Lege with a 30 Ford Coupe, In the 40's original class Paul Havens with a 48 Plymouth took 1st & 2nd went to Max Butterfield with a 40 Buick Super 4 door sedan, 50's original 1st place went to Paul Martin with a 59 Studebaker and 2nd to James Evans with a 58 AMX-Metropolitan, the Tri 5 Class 1st place went to Carl Mitchum with a 57 Chevy, 60's original 1st place went to Don Brown with a 62 Ford T-Bird and 2nd place to Mike Malone with a 65 Corvette 70's original 1st place went to J.L. Evans with a 72 Plymouth Duster and 2nd place to Suzie McGee with a 72 Olds 442. In the 50's custom Gary Miller with a 53 Chevy convertible took 1st & 2nd went to Roy Ragen with a 56 Ford Crown Victoria, the tri 5 custom 1st place went to Bill Cobb with his 55 Chevy Belair 2 door hard top & 2nd to Ken Foster with a 57 Chevy Belair 2 door hard top, 60's custom1st place went to Pat Hearn with a 65 Ford Mustang 2nd to Jim Potter with a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner 70's custom 1st place went to Doug Harris with his 71 Plymouth Duster.
The 60's original truck 1st place went to Jerald Fleming with a 66 Ford F100 & 2nd place went to Gary Handlin with a 63 Ford Rancho, the 70's original 1st place went to Charles King with a 71 Chevy C-10 and 2nd went to Dudly Parks with a 72 Chevy Cheyenne, and 80's and up original truck 1st place went to Terry Havens with a 07 Chevy HHR Panel, The Street Rod Truck 1st place went to Tony Grato with a 31 Ford and 2nd went to Lewis & Becky Crowell with a 36 Chevy pu, 50's custom truck 1st place went to Jack Ellison with a 57 Chevy Pu & 2nd was in memory of Linda Taylor with a 50 Ford pu, the 60's custom truck 1st place went to Earl Chapman with a 60 Chevy El Camino, and 2nd to William Dudley with a 65 Chevy Pu, and 70's custom truck 1st place went to Ron Griffith with a 71 Chevy El Camino SS and 2nd went to Tommy Wyatt with a 72 Chevy Pu, 80's and up custom truck 1st place went to Rickey Parks With a 94 Chevy Pu. In the Convertible Class 1st place went to Gloria Young with a 2007 Saturn Sky and 2nd went to Carla Bland with a 71 Corvette In the Camaro class Herschel Beaty with a 83 took first. The Mustang class 1st place went to Lori Hearn with a 08 Ford Mustang Shelby and Pete Gonzales with a 07 took 2nd. The Street Rod Coupe 1st place went to Dan Summerall with a 47 Chevy and 2nd went to Teddy Landrum with a 38 Dodge. The Street Rod Sedan 1st place went to Rodney Marshall with a 33 Ford. Vicky and Donnie Higgins took 2nd with a 39 Chevy. The Street Rod Roadster 1st place went to Jack Goss with a 23 Ford T-Bucket and John Leathers with a 26 Ford Pheaton took 2nd. The Import Class 1st place went to Gary Norseworthy with a 73 Datson 240 Z and David Pinkus with a 39 Jag took 2nd.
Under Construction 1st place went to Ernie Brubaker with a 55 Chevy 210 4 door sedan and Kevin Millsap with a 67 Pontiac Firebird took 2nd. The Open Class 1st place went to Frank Besowshek with a 63 Ford Galaxy and Charlotte White with a 31 Ford took 2nd. The Muscle Car Class 1st place went to Dennis Pruitt with a 70 Dodge Super Bee and 2nd going to Sherri Luman with a 69 Chevy Chevelle.
While Zoomie won the Race Car Class. With a 83 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Mayor's Choice went to Charles King with a 71 Chevy Pu.
Fire Chief's choice went to Scott & Janet Huyck with a 66 Ford Mustang.
Longest Distance to Ron Griffith with the 71 Chevy El Camino SS driving from Texarkana.
Club Participation went to the Shakers & Scrapers with 12 entries.
Best Flames went to Rodney Marshall with a 33 Ford Vicky.
Best Paint went to Charolette White with a 31 Model A.
Best Interior went to Terry Presley with a 70 Ford F-100.
Best Motor went to Robert Letchworth with a 65 Chevy pickup.
The Best Original Car went to Paul Martin with a 59 Studebaker.
The Best Custom Car went to Pat Hearn with a 65 Ford Mustang hard top.
The Best Original Truck went to Terry Havens with a 07 Chevy HHR Panel.
The Best Custom Truck went to Jack Ellison with a 57 Chevy Pu.
The BEST OF THE BEST was Pat Hearn with a 65 Ford Mustang hard top.
Judging was Close in a lot of classes, every point counts in the end.
We raised $ 4206.00 for our hard working volunteer fire fighters of Seven Points.
