Don’t bash Bush
Dear Editor,
I read Mr. Lawler’s comments, and I came to the conclusion it could have been written by you, Howard Dean or Hugo Chavez.
Mr. Lawler mentioned the 69% who were not happy with our president, but failed to mention the 81% of us that are not happy with our Democrat Congress.
He also says that we love berating each other, I assume he means the liberal Media who bashes President Bush at every turn, as for holding ourselves superior to others I can quote Mr. Oboma when talking about common folks in Pennsylvania (when in distress they can only cling to their guns and Bibles).
As for Bush sending our young men and woman to war, Mr. Lawler I have news for you, each and everyone of those young men and woman volunteered to go.
Unlike the war in Bosnia (where Clinton sent the military without the consent of Congress or the UN) Mr. Bush got overwhelming support from congress and the UN to fight this war on terror!!!!
As for the "Mission accomplished" sign, Bush did not put that sign up, as you mentioned he still had on his flight suit! The fine young men and woman on that ship put that sign up when the Captain got on the horn and said "we have accomplished our mission and we are headed home.
He did not say the war is over, we have killed or captured all terrorist in the world, He said that this Ship and the people on it have completed the mission we sent them to do.
You and your liberal friends can spin this any way you want to, as you said about BERATING, you and the liberal media have done a fine Job at it.
As for Bush lied to us, George Bush told us what U.S., British, French, German, and Israel intelligence told him, they also told the CONGRESS of the United States.
Numerous Democrats, like Hillary and Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore, and many others have said the same thing Bush told us, It is easy to look up and easier to overlook by the liberal media.
Under the Clinton administration 1995 World trade center 6 dead, 1042 wounded
1996 US Military base Saudi Arabia Truck bomb 19 military dead 240 wounded
1998 Grenades explode US Embassy Beirut No one hurt
1998 Three Us embassies bombed Kenya-- Tanzania-- Salaam 12 dead 5000 wounded
2000 Uss Cole 17 dead 39 wounded
Mr. Clinton called these criminal acts, After 9-11 3000 Men woman and children dead, and Billions of dollars up in smoke, Mr. Bush, the UN,the US Congress and the American People called it an act of war!!
So all in all I think Mr. Bush with his hands tied behind his back has done a real good Job, you will note that we have not had a terrorist attack on US soil since 9-11. He not only has fought the terrorist,he has had to fight the ACLU,the liberal mainstream news media, a liberal supreme court, and a democrat controlled congress who OKed this war and now want to cut and run.
