It is time for the Annual 48th Henderson County Livestock Show in Athens, TX. Mallory Mobly, a freshman of Eustace High School and daughter of DeAnna Browning, started the year of 2007 in catching a calf at the Ft. Worth Livestock Show Rodeo and then entered the PRCA Stampede Rodeo held in Athens during the month of April and also caught a calf. Mallory purchased a Simbrah heifer with her certificate money and of course added money toward the purchase of her heifer. She and her heifer, Dolly, have been attending several of the major shows and learning the whole time. Mallory has received a $1,500 scholarship from the Ft. Worth Livestock Show. She will be showing Dolly twice in Athens on Friday, the 28th, in the breeding beef show and then in the scramble heifer show. Mallory, along with other students will also be showing other breeding animals along with market animals and invites you to come out and support the youth of the 48th Annual Henderson County Livestock Show which starts on Monday, March 24th and runs thru March 29th with the Premium Auction being the highlight of the show.
